"One" means one sitting per couple, family, individual, etc. at one location. Or it could mean one location of a small business.
When shooting businesses or homes, I often make extra visits so I can get the best lighting. I will never charge for that.
With regard to time - I don't charge by the hour, I charge by the job so I can focus on what matters.
